ZenMate: a simple extension to access blocked content and services geographically

Contents blocked geographically or governments that prevent its citizens accessing certain online content is, unfortunately, the daily bread. In this situation the alternative that users have is to use proxies or VPN s to mask their origin and be able to access all the content they want.

This process of configuring VPN s proxies or may not be trivial to many and that is why extensions as ZenMate as useful. This extension for Google Chrome created by a German start-up that target Simon and Markus and allows very easily and quickly configure and activate a VPN for the browser.
The installation process is simple. Simply download the extension and select an email and password so we can start using it. Its makers claim that security is maximum and the user traffic is encrypted. "100% safe, 100% private," they say. Although we know that today few things are completely safe on the Internet.

ZenMate options are limited and focus on what really interests the user: select either VPN according to the country from which we want to connect. An advantage that has over other alternatives is that ZenMate to change the location VPN tab; that is, if we listen to Pandora on a tab and choose the American VPN if we want to use another British servers to access content and BBC iPlayer, we can do it without any problem.

There are other options on the market, but the simplicity of ZenMate is a competitive advantage. A tool that is useful in countries like Venezuela that, right now, are suffering blocking applications like Twitter. You need only take a look at the latest opinions on the extent to realize that many users in the country are receiving with open arms.
